23 -25 March 2016 / 14-15 Adar II
It was during this season, many years ago,
days of Queen Esther, that God's people celebrated the great victory that
He had given them over those who hated them and sought their
utter destruction. Please consider this passage from the Word of God.
Esther 9:21-22, 26-28 "To stablish
[this] among them, that they should keep the fourteenth day of the month
Adar, and the fifteenth day of the same, yearly, as the days wherein the
Jews rested from their enemies, and the month which was turned unto them
from sorrow to joy, and from mourning into a good day: that they should make
them days of feasting and joy, and of sending portions one to another, and
gifts to the poor…
Wherefore they called these days Purim
after the name of Pur. Therefore for all the words of this letter, and [of
that] which they had seen concerning this matter, and which had come unto
them, the Jews ordained, and took upon them, and upon their seed, and
upon all such as joined themselves unto them, so as it should not fail,
that they would keep these two days according to their writing, and
according to their [appointed] time every year;
And [that] these days [should be]
remembered and kept throughout every generation, every family, every
province, and every city; and [that] these days of Purim should not fail
from among the Jews, nor the memorial of them perish from their seed."
The enemies of Almighty God are
still seeking to destroy God's people and His creation; and even though they
may seem to be winning, I am reminded of a prophetic passage that all should
"O LORD, how great are Thy works!
and Thy thoughts are very deep.
A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.
When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do
flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:
But Thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.
For, lo, Thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, Thine enemies shall perish; all the
workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
But my horn shalt Thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be
anointed with fresh oil.
Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine
ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.
The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar
Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts
of our God.
They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and
To shew that the
LORD is upright: He is my rock, and there is no
unrighteousness in Him."
God is the Judge of all, but until that
Final Judgment Day He has chosen to send His servants and ministers to inform and
warn His people. I pray that you are a true "believer" of the testimony of Jesus

he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do
it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the
testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him

His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many

And He was

Most Christians do not commemorate
this special season, nor do they celebrate the other Holy Days as recorded
in God's Word. Moreover, many just follow the "tradition of men," rather
than obey the Word of God that the Holy Spirit inspired men to write down,
and has been compiled in what is called the Holy Scriptures. Sadly,
God's Word continues to be devalued or totally dismissed in many of the churches!
Sin will obscure
your view of the truth and taint you, which is why sin is so dangerous to walk in. Only through
the Lord Jesus Christ can we truly be set free from sin and its very damaging and
And it is only by the
grace of God (His favor upon our lives), that any of us will be spared from
"the wrath of God" that will come "upon the children of
disobedience." (See Ephesians 2:2; 5:6, & Colossians 3:6.)
We surely need the LORD,
especially in these difficult and trying times in which we are living. May
you have "eyes to see" and "ears to hear" the truth as you
call upon the name of the LORD, from a sincere and repentant heart. And may
it be your heart's desire to truly know Him; because if you do, you can't
help but love God and want to obey Him!
Matthew 7:21 Jesus said, "Not every one that
saith unto Me, LORD, LORD, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he
that doeth the will of My Father which is in Heaven."
