First & Last Day
of the Feast of Unleavened Bread
Initial Post: 15 Nisan 5772 / 6
Update: 13 April 2012 / 21 Nisan 5772 / 6th Day of
Today is the Last Day of The Feast, and is
meaningless to most people; and it brings me great sadness when I see that some
of my children who I raised up to honor God's Holy Days has little respect for
It doesn't help that most "Christian" leaders have taught that "Passover is a
Jewish Feast and NOT a Christian celebration," but the LORD Jesus, who was Jewish,
celebrated Passover! The "LORD'S Supper" was the last Passover that Jesus
shared with His disciples before He was killed!
It was during the Passover, not "Good Friday" when
the Jewish leaders persuaded the Romans to crucify the LORD. The Resurrection of Jesus took place three
Passover, but most Christians commemorate this momentous event on some arbitrary day of men's
So many "traditions" that were ordained by
the Roman Catholic Church, and later adopted by Protestant and non-Protestant
churches alike, totally contradict
God's Word, but they are practiced anyways!
Keeping the "tradition of men," rather
than keeping the Word of God, takes precedence among many of God's people, as it was
in Jesus' day, and that is such a sad commentary for the present day Church!
People have just "forgotten God," and
Him out of their lives! Yes, they gather together in churches, and sing and talk
about Jesus, and even "profess that they know God; but in works they deny
They turn a blind eye to the error and wrong doing
that is taking place all around them, but to deny the Truth of God's Word in order to
believe the lies of the Devil is a dangerous place to be in this Age of Apostasy!
John 4:23-24 "But
the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father
in Spirit and in Truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him. God is
a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in
Please consider these passages from God's Word, as
it is only by God, that we have "understanding in all
things" so that we "might understand the Scriptures" and truly know
and love our Father in Heaven. "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the
1 Corinthians 11:17-34 "Now in this that I declare unto you I
praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the
For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there
be divisions among you; and I partly believe it. For there must be also heresies
among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
When ye come together therefore into one place,
this is not to eat the LORD'S supper. For in eating every one taketh before
other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken. What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in?
or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not?
What shall I say
to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not. For I have received of the LORD that which also I
delivered unto you, That the LORD Jesus the same night in which he was
betrayed took bread: And when He had given thanks, He brake it, and said,
Take, eat: this is My body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of
After the same manner also He took the cup,
when He had supped, saying, This cup is the New Testament in My blood: this do
ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of Me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this
cup, ye do shew the LORD'S death till He come. Wherefore whosoever shall eat
this bread, and drink this cup of the LORD, unworthily, shall be guilty
of the body and blood of the LORD.
But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat
of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and
drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning
the LORD'S body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and
For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be
judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the LORD, that we should not
be condemned with the world. Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to
eat, tarry one for another. And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye
come not together unto condemnation.
And the rest will I set in order when I come."
The LORD God will surely set all things in order
at the Final Judgment, and the most important thing we must consider is
what will God say to us on that Day? Will it be, "Well done, thou good
and faithful servant!" or will it be, "I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work
2 Thessalonians 2:7-12 "For
the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only He who now letteth will let,
until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom
the LORD shall consume with the Spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the
brightness of His coming: Even Him, whose
coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they
received not the love of the Truth, that they might be saved.
And for this cause God shall send them strong
delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who
believed not the Truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."
Jesus Christ had warned
His disciples about a Time of great deception,
and only those who truly love the
Truth can be saved from the Enemy who has distorted God's Word in order to
destroy the unsuspecting soul.
Almighty God is holding back the Evil One from
taking over completely, and one Great and Dreadful Day he will be exposed for who
he really is, along with all those who were taken in by his "signs and lying
wonders" that are being propagated by
deceived and wicked men.
2 John 1:7-11 "For
many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is
come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an anti-Christ.
Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things
which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. Whosoever
transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that
abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
If there come any unto you, and bring not this
doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For
he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds."
desperately need to call upon the name of the LORD from a sincere and repentant
heart, and truly be led by the Holy Spirit, without which they will be "ever
learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the Truth," or hear what
God is saying in these Final Days.
Sin is rampant in the churches of God, and is
condoned by God's people, to their utter shame! Sin is the Doorway into the Darkness,
and only by walking in the "True Light"
can you find your way out.
I Am pleading with those who have an
arrogant and cavalier attitude toward sin, and toward those who are of the
Truth! Repent and turn away from sin, and those who lead you to it, before it is too late!
However, if you take more "pleasure in unrighteousness"
rather than in serving the living God, He will allow you to continue in the sin
that has darkened your eyes, until that Great and Dreadful Day of the LORD, when your sins will be exposed for
all the world to see! And should you stand before God, condemned, there will be no turning

Pilate therefore went forth again, and saith unto

Acts 3:13-15 "The
God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath
glorified His Son Jesus; Whom ye delivered up, and denied Him in the presence of
Pilate, when he was determined to let Him go. But ye denied the Holy One
and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;
and killed the Prince of life, Whom God
hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses."

2 Timothy 3:12-17 "Yea,
and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil
men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
But continue thou in the things which thou

And that from a child thou hast known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to
make thee wise unto Salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
All Scripture given by inspiration of God,

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 "Know ye not that the
unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God? Be not deceived:
neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers
of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor

And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but

John 3:5-8 "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water
and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that
which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must
be born again.
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou
hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it

Malachi 4:1-6 "For,
behold, the Day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and
all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the Day that cometh shall burn them

But unto you that fear My Name shall the Sun
of righteousness arise with healing in His wings; and ye shall go forth, and
grow up as calves of the stall. And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they
shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the Day that I shall do this,
saith the LORD of hosts.

before the coming of the Great and Dreadful Day of the LORD:
And He shall turn the heart of the fathers
to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and

May these sayings "sink down into your ears" and
it is my sincere prayer that God will give you knowledge and understanding so
that you may know the only True God, and Jesus Christ whom He hast sent! After
