The Day of Pentecost
26-27 May 2012 / 6
Updated 28 May 2012 / 8 Sivan 5772
According to the Holy Scriptures
Today is the special commemoration of when God sent His Spirit to this earth in
"an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James,
and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the
son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James,"
along with "the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brethren."
Acts Chapter 2 Selected verses: "And
when the Day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in
one place. And suddenly there came a sound from Heaven as of a rushing
mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there
appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of
them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with
other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance...
But this is that which was spoken by the
prophet Joel; (2:28-32) And it shall come to pass in the Last Days,
saith God, I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and
your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and
your old men shall dream dreams: And on My servants and on My handmaidens I
will pour out in those days of My Spirit; and they shall prophesy...
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be
baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of
sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is
unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as
many as the LORD our God shall call. And with many other words did he
testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
Then they that gladly received his word were
baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three
And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and
fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon
every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles...
And the LORD added to the Church daily such as
should be saved."
The LORD Jesus Christ is the
only true Saviour, but there are so many deceivers that are directing people to
false-Christ, but one Day it will be very evident who is truly of God and who is

been over twenty years since I left the Roman Catholic Church, but I did not initially leave because I
finally saw my great error. It is just that my Husband and I decided we
would only go to the Baptist Church since it was getting too hard, with our
growing family, to go to
However, in the
years I have come to understand that the Catholic Church is
not the 'true Church' as they
have always claimed, but I also
see that my membership, involvement, and departure from the Roman Church was all
a part of the amazing plan of
My Real Father.
Having grown up as a Roman Catholic, the one
thing that bothered me was being accused of worshipping Mary. I would tell my
accusers that I did not worship Mary, but I respected her as Jesus' mother.
However, I have since discovered that the
Roman Catholic Church does indeed advocate the worship of Mary, as the following
very revealing quotes from the official Vatican documents of the 'Code
of Canon Law,' and the 'Catechism
of the Catholic Church,' will show.
'III MARY - ESCHATOLOGICAL ICON OF THE CHURCH'
'2682...May our most
gracious God grant this through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary,
the Mother of the Church, her spouse St. Joseph, Patron of the Church, and
Saints Peter and Paul.'
all-holy ever-virgin Mother of God, is the masterwork of the mission of the
Son and the Spirit in the fullness of time... '
'722...She was, by sheer
grace, conceived without sin as the most humble of creatures, the most
capable of welcoming the inexpressible gift of the Almighty.'
'773...Mary goes before us all in the holiness that is the Church's mystery as 'the
bride without spot or wrinkle.'194 This is why the 'Marian'
dimension of the Church precedes the 'Petrine.'195'
The second commandment
forbids the abuse of God's name, i.e., every improper use of the names of
God, Jesus Christ, but also of the Virgin Mary and all the saints.'
Mary is the perfect
(pray-er), a figure of the Church. When we pray to her, we are adhering
with her to the plan of the Father, who sends his Son to save all men. Like the
beloved disciple we welcome Jesus' mother into our homes,39 for she
has become the mother of all the living. We can pray with and to her. The
prayer of the Church is sustained by the prayer of Mary and united with
it in hope.'
'2677...By asking Mary to pray for us, we acknowledge ourselves to be poor sinners
and we address ourselves to the 'Mother of Mercy,' the All-Holy One.
We give ourselves over to her now, in the Today of our lives. And our trust broadens
further, already at the present moment, to surrender 'the hour of our death'
wholly to her care.'
'969...Taken up to heaven
she did not lay aside this saving office but by her manifold intercession
continues to bring us the gifts of eternal salvation....Therefore the
Blessed Virgin is invoked in the Church under the titles of 'Advocate, Helper,
Benefactress, and Mediatrix.'510'
To obey (from the Latin
ob-audire, to 'hear or listen to') in faith is to submit freely to the word
that has been heard, because its truth is guaranteed by God, who is Truth
itself. Abraham is the model of such obedience offered us by Sacred Scripture.
The Virgin Mary is its most perfect embodiment.'
'966 Finally the
Immaculate Virgin, preserved free from all stain of original sin, when the
course of her earthly life was finished, was taken up body and soul into
heavenly glory, and exalted by the Lord as Queen over all things,'
End of quotes from
to the doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church
'Conceived without sin.'

personal sin throughout her life.'
'All-holy ever-virgin Mother of
'Bride without spot or wrinkle.'
'Most perfect embodiment.'
'The Mother of the Church.'
The 'Queen over all things.'
'The Icon of the Church.'
Exalted above the Apostles of Christ.
can pray with and to her.'
One 'we give ourselves over to'!
'The All-Holy One'?!!
One who 'Goes before us all.'
One who 'Continues to

Without quoting all the references, these are the teachings of
the Roman Catholic Church
in regard to the Pope:
The Pope is Peter's

virtue of his office.
The Pope is the
substitute for Christ on this earth.
The Pope has supreme

The Pope has full authority

Supreme Pontiff, who they deem the 'Vicar of Christ,'

and leads his
'faithful' followers to bow before her.
And because of who he is, he will demand to be worshipped too!"
Based on the evidence I Am presenting, I hope you can see that the Roman
Catholic Church, under the sole authority of the Bishop of Rome, the Pope, has
from the very beginning been guilty of usurping the power and authority that
belongs only to Christ--the True and Living God!
Through the exultation of their Mary, the mother of "another Jesus," and the
worship of the Pope, who is just a man, the Roman Catholic Church has
successfully deceived, and continues to mislead, the "unlearned" masses for social,
and spiritual gain, unto this day.
leadership of the Roman Catholic Church has essentially rejected the true God, His
Pure Word, and His beloved Son; and
are a part of this "Church," whether by just blindly following them, or have willingly joined
become a partaker of their evil deeds.
1:7-11 "For many
deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come
in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an anti-Christ.
Look to yourselves, that we
lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
Whosoever transgresseth, and
abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the
doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
If there come any unto you,
and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid
him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds."
If what we are taught to
believe is rooted in evil,
reject it! Obedience to God
should be paramount, and
who name the Name of Christ must uphold the Truth and defend His
Word at all cost!
Sadly so many Christians have
been led away from God and His Truth, but that has also been foretold in the
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 "Let no
man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there
come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of
perdition; who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or
that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing
himself that he is God."
"Christ-mas" is believed to be the commemoration of the birth of Jesus, but the
"hidden meaning," actually equates to the dismissal of Christ! And by false
pretenses, and under the cover of Darkness, the "Apostate Church" has led
the way to the exaltation of the anti-Christ!!
I have published
of the Birth of Christ in many other articles, and I hope you will read them, but the essence of what I have written is that the Biblical
Holy Days do indeed point to true Christ.
are varying opinions as to when Jesus' birth actually took place,
and regardless of what
traditions the Roman Catholic Church,
and most "protestants" and evangelicals, have been conformed to, I Am certain that
is not when Jesus Christ was born into this world, especially when I consider what
God's Word "literally" says..."
According to the Holy
Scriptures it was on the Day of Pentecost that the Holy Spirit was given,
and also according to the Holy Scriptures it was when the Ten Commandments
were given, and I believe it was at Pentecost when the LORD Jesus, the Son
of the Living God, was given to a world that desperately needed the True
Messiah, and still does!
birth of the LORD Jesus Christ, is an extremely important
event, and irrespective of the exact date, had He never been born, all of mankind would be without Hope
and "without God in the world."
There was a time when the
salvation of God's people was brought about due to the courageous
acts of a
young woman, that under the threat of death was willing to appeal to the King,
who by the providence of God happened to be her Husband. And if God chose to use a faithful woman to bring down
the Enemy back then, He may choose to use a woman that is truly committed to Him,
"for such a Time as
this" to bring "that old Serpent, called the Devil, and Satan," to his

The following was posted at 'Babylon the Great...'
on 6 June 2005 at approximately 11:00 AM. It touches on My View of the Roman
Church and some other pertinent issues. In the future I hope to address my past
affiliations with the Catholic Church so others can understand why I Am very
concerned about anyone who is a part of or supportive of the Roman Catholic
Church in any way, whether directly or indirectly.

Dear Mr. Jack
'Solomon is Calling, Part 4...Changing World' was very interesting. You bring up
subjects that seem to be very strange, but I understand how you can come to
those conclusions. Regarding the current Roman Catholic Pope—I just know when I
saw him presiding over the Mass of the deceased Pope, (on 8 April 2005) I knew in my heart that he
would be the next 'Vicar of Christ.'
I could really sense the power and
authority that he has been given over that anti-Christian religious system,
something of which I used to be a part of many years ago, but I Am no longer,
thank God! I didn't realize he would be chosen so quickly. (On 19 April 2005.) Apparently, he has no
opposition within his ranks, or least not openly.
Nonetheless, I Am sure
everything is proceeding in its proper Time, and even though it may seem that
the Wicked One is in control, I Am very certain that God is overseeing
The God of
Heaven is in ultimate control, and that knowledge is what keeps me going every
day. I fully trust the LORD for everything, and it is my sincere hope that I can
encourage God's people to do the same through the ministry that He has given me.
We really need the LORD to give us hope and courage in these very difficult and
trying Times in which we are living. And if we truly believe the Holy Scriptures
it will only get worse before it gets better, but praise God there is a glorious
Day awaiting those who truly love and worship the One and only Holy Father and
His beloved Son.
As for the
President... I have never really trusted him, but I Am very
certain that he is the man that God has ordained to be in that position of
power. I don't know exactly how everything will play out, but I do have
confidence in the One who does. The LORD God continually proves His faithfulness
to me, and He has my complete allegiance. I understand why Jesus says to take no
thought for tomorrow, and to take each day as it comes, because He knew we have
a tendency to worry about things, especially as the End draws near. Not that we
shouldn't plan and look to the future--we must, but our plans should always be
with the thought, 'If the LORD will, we shall live, and do this, or that.'
the “Rapture.” That is indeed a very controversial subject, even among sincere
believers in the LORD Jesus Christ, but it is something very important to
understand. It can greatly affect your attitude towards God and His Kingdom if
you sincerely believe that you won’t have to face the anti-Christ. I Am hoping
to address this issue more in-depth as God leads me, and if you would like a
copy of that article when I Am able to complete it please let me know.
I have been
coming to “Babylon…” for a while now, and I have some very important concerns
that I want to address with you when I have the liberty to do that. But I pray
that you will always be vigilant and cautious with all men. The adversary is
very sly, wily, crafty, and cunning and he seeks to deceive true followers of
Christ through his many subtle lies and deceptions. Those who are of the Devil
will eventually show their true colors, but we must be especially careful
because He masquerades as a Christian. And only those who have “eyes to see”
will be able to see.
There is much
more I could say, but I will close for now. May the God of peace keep you and
your loved ones as you walk with Him in the True Light of His Holy Word!
PS. I have since written some articles
about the Rapture and I invite you to read "My
Rapture View" and "The Fatal Error." Also
to help you to understand some of my concerns about Mr. Hook, I have noted some
excerpts from another article previously posted at my website.
"...While Mr. Hook appears to
be very devoted and sincere, there is something about him that I do not trust. I
certainly don't judge the intentions of his heart, but I Am concerned about him
and his affiliates.
Several of his links at his 'Babylon site' lead to 'Passion
Supporters' and other sites that are 'anti-Christ' in nature. They may have a
form of godliness, but they should not be trusted if they are not able to see
the evil surrounding Mel Gibson's 'Passion...' and the wickedness of the movie
industry in general."
All of this just proves why "it
is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man" or a woman,
who is not devoted to the True Christ.
